Good Day people!Why cherry blossoms? Because right now is bulb planting season. Bulbs: tulips, daffodils, crocuses, etc., bloom in the spring. This cute shot was taken in the spring, near my hoose.
Bulbs are what is on my agenda this weekend...along with a BBQ sauce contest, and lots of other yard work.
Yard work means completing the secret rock path, digging, and tilling some soil. It also means taking random breaks to do laundry, read, and maybe nap.
It has been sunny for days, but I think everyone here, in Seattle, knows what is looming off in the distance: grey, grey, grey, gruey, grye.....ooohhhh uuuhhhh blleehhhhh. That's okay, though, I have plenty of vitamin D, a favorite new beer (Manny's-brewed in our very own Seattle, by Georgetown Brewery (they also make a fine Pilsner)), and some chocolate frosting. xoxx
