Greetings from Chinatown!!

"Deer attack sends Ore. bird watcher to hospital" and last week, a mountain goat attacked a man in the Olympic National Park!
These animals have gone wild and something needs to be done!!

In other news, we are proud to report that Miss Stacia Sander is no longer camping in Chinatown. She has gotten a bed; a big giant comfortable bed, and no one that talks to her will have to hear about her "achin' back" anymore! Congratulations. Thank you Shannon and Darren!
The weather in Seattle turned stormy this weekend and the mountains were not to be seen, but this glimmery, grey imposter of a Cascade still stood tall against the fog and clouds.
The Home/Living section offers a super easy no fuss, no muss bread recipe that helps one rock out anything from long, skinny, crusty baguettes to foccacia. If you are bored, you can also put it on your head and practice your posture. Chugging wine also helps. This is the first thing that has come out of the #403 oven. Yay.

We saw "Big Boi" on Saturday, and he definitely rocked the "206"....very funny show....

In next week's edition look for updated going rate for street crack, advice on how to get out of bed when it is still pitch black, and Statcia's favourite thing she ate at the Chinese restaurant on the corner.
Have a lovely Monday.

Now, inside the apt...

I forgot to take picture of the bathroom and the hurricaned other room, so you just have to wait! But, Oh! This is the kitchen!! It probably won't see any action for a while because currently my cookware consists of a stock pot with no lid and tons of cake pans. Bon Apetit!Jimmy likes his new home just fine, too(you can kind of see him chillin' on the stove). Here we are going down the stairs.........and out the door. I will show you the cool secret door to a neat place later. I am getting tired of being boring :)

More hood shots......

So....these pics are me just standing in front of the apartment and looking "left" and looking "right"........ and my alley.....
The clock tower, that you see below, is at Union Station. Union Station is the old train station. I catch my underground bus there. The clock tower is also the direction that my windows face. (That would be West to any of you that are interested in actual directions.) I can see it from my windows; my windows that are in Apt. 403.

This is to the East.....
This is to the West.....

These are my two favorite signs so far....

And of course, what wouldn't a stroll down the street be if you didn't get to be tempted by savory bbq-ed animal hanging in window?

Some sights from the new hood......

You like bakery across street from apartment? Yes! I haven't been yet.....I will let you know.....

Cool building......

This place is next to the bakery.....

I wanted to take a picture of the little man all dressed in white who was out fiddling with his bags of herbs, but I felt too conspicuous being the new blonde white girl in town.....so keep your eyes posted for him in the future...
